We make a children's corner in the country ourselves

If there are small children, then, of course, a sandbox is needed, they love to poke around in the ground. It can be done in different ways, but the basic principles remain:

  • The top layer of soil is cut and leveled.
  • To drain the water in the middle, you need to make a slope, a meter-long hole is made in the center of the sandbox and a tube is inserted, which is filled with rubble. All this is necessary so that after the rain the moisture leaves and puddles do not form in the sandbox.

For fencing a children's corner in the country, you can use different materials: these are pegs, which can be made in the form of pencils, and hemp, on which you can jump, or you can dig in tires, and so on - the choice is wide, it all depends on imagination and skill.

Children will be happy if their parents put a swing for them, this is the second thing after the sandbox that they love very much. You can buy a swing, or you can make it yourself, for this two pillars are dug into the ground, and from above they are connected with a crowbar. After that, you can hang the swing on the rope. The main thing is that the structure is strong and well dug in, so that the swing does not fall with the child.

The swing can be not only on a rope, but also on chains, so it will be stronger, and a wooden board, processed and painted, or a tire, or even a log can serve as a seat - it all depends on imagination.

You can put a horizontal bar, it is very useful, and energy will splash out when children climb and hang on it. It would be nice to install a slide, now there is a fairly large selection of them, so you can choose any size, color, with a bend or straight, wooden or iron, and maybe plastic.

Interesting ideas for children's gazebos

Very often, a children's corner in the country is associated with a cozy and comfortable gazebo. We offer several options to customize this place.

  1. Wigwam.

Surely, children, especially boys, will like the idea of a wigwam as a gazebo. This will be the place where the child can organize his small world, can retire and play. Perhaps the children will play Indians, imagining how they live in a wigwam or hut.

It is not difficult to make it, for this you will need branches of different thicknesses or slats, they will need to be pulled over the fabric and that's it.

You can also sow seeds of climbing flowers or plants around the structure, they will braid the slats and you will get a summer hut. Inside it, the child can do everything as it suits him. It would be nice to put benches and a table there, you can put hay on the floor or lay linoleum or other waterproof material, and a rug is already on it.

For a simpler implementation, you can sprinkle the floor with sawdust or stone chips, and, alternatively, lay it out with pebbles.

  1. A canopy on a branch.

Great idea, you can take a hula-hoop, attach any fabric to it and attach it to a tree branch. Below you can lay a blanket or a small mattress. That's all, the tree house is ready.

  1. Three-in-one design: gazebo, swing, slide.

This is a more difficult option, it is more suitable for large areas, but children are just delighted with them. The swing and the bungee are a favorite attraction for children, and if they have it all at their dacha, it will be just wonderful.

At this time there are many options for finished products, you can do it yourself, the most important thing here is the safety and strength of the structure, which combines a gazebo, and a swing, and a horizontal bar, and a bungee, and a slide. The larger the structure, the more complex the attractions.

  1. Sandbox gazebo.

A great option for kids, such a design can be made in the shape of a boat, inside which there is a sandbox, and on top there is a roof. Small benches can be made on the ship, making an excellent multifunctional place for small children.

In the summer, children are especially active. And this sometimes prevents parents from going about their business. So that the child is busy with something and does not interfere, you can install a sandbox on your site.

Children love to play in the sand. Plus it develops hand motor skills, imagination and tactile sensations. And building a sandbox with your own hands is not difficult for any parent.

The standard sandbox shape is a square. The side of this square is approximately 1.5 meters. For the construction of the sandbox, you will need boards about 40 cm wide. To make the sandbox shape strictly square, you should use the corners. For comfortable play in the sandbox, the child needs a seat. It is enough to attach several boards to the frame, securing them with corners.

Let's consider the construction of the sandbox in more detail. The frame of the sandbox should be dug into the ground by 10 cm. Also, you should choose a place for the sandbox in advance. It should not be in the open air and in the lowlands. If the sandbox is located in the sun, then there is a high probability of sunstroke, which is not good. And on a hill, moisture will not accumulate after rains, and your child will be able to continue playing in the sand as soon as possible. It is also recommended to take into account the fact that the wind does not blow too much in the place of the future sandbox.

If the place of the future sandbox is in an open area, and there is no other place, then it is recommended to make a roof for the sandbox. The roof frame should be made of reinforcement or lathing.

If the sandbox is large enough, you can make a pillar in the middle of the sandbox. Otherwise, you will need to install 4 posts in the corners of the frame. The roof covering can be anything. For example, metal tiles, polycarbonate, lining, etc. are well suited.

Before filling the soil into the sandbox, you should carefully sort it out and remove the weeds. The amount of sand will depend on the size of the sandbox. On average, it is customary to take about 0.7 cubic meters. It is best if the soil is coarse.

After completing the construction of the sandbox, you should paint it. Do not forget that the color scheme should attract the child, and not repel. After all, the more a child likes it, the more he will be busy playing with sand. This means that you have more time to rest. Therefore, you should draw different patterns, decorations, use different colors. It all depends on your imagination and abilities.

There is the least capacious version of the sandbox. It is enough to get a large tire from the tractor, into which to fill the soil. This completes the construction of the play area, but it is not a fact that the child will spend a lot of time there.
